Urgency Center

This regional hospital was able to make the most of its space by converting an unwelcoming basement area with no natural lighting into a
warm, efficient urgent care center. Opaque glass barn doors and clerestory windows keep exam rooms bright and airy. DIRTT’s flexible horizontal support system let healthcare providers position medical equipment where it’s needed, with the flexibility to move it - and the entire space, for that matter - as needs change. Pre-build concerns over acoustics/privacy issues proved unfounded as patients and providers settled in; and the three-week installation time frame meant the clinic was meeting healthcare needs far more quickly than conventional construction would have allowed (photo credit: Kirk Monpas).
